Have you ever had the urge to get creative but don’t know where to start? Come and join professional artist, Kim Clark, as she guides you through the creation of your own 8 x 10” painting, with a focus on a word or image of something that you want more of in your life. 

We will paint intuitively using acrylic paint, brushes and non-traditional tools and infuse your painting with heart and intention. All materials are provided, and you will have guidance every step of the way. No previous painting experience is required.

This isn’t your typical paint night. The focus will be on the act of painting, the joy and calm that comes from creating something with your own hands. The workshop will take place at Taren White Gallery, 13 Grand River St N, Paris, ON on Friday, September 15th from 6:30 - 8:30pm.

This is a self guided tour of various locations in our neighbourhood featuring artists, makers and creative businesses. There will be many items for sale directly from the makers. Maps maybe downloaded at holmedaleartcrawl.ca or picked up at one of the many marked locations. Each address will have a sign with the logo clearly on display. There will be a mix of outdoor and indoor displays with safety protocols in effect.

Kim Clark Fine Art will be set up at Heron Head Bikes, 120 Morrell St, Brantford. We will have original artwork, greeting cards, and maybe a giveaway or two!.

Join us at Taren White Gallery for a Pop Up Exhibition of The Lighthouse Collection! The Lighthouses are a series of acrylic paintings that will be on display and available for purchase on back deck of the gallery, overlooking the river. Kim will be there painting, chatting, and answering any questions you have about her work or her process.

Don’t limit your gnome love to Christmas! Gnomes are said to protect you from evil spirits and bring good luck. 

During this workshop, you will create your own gnome to watch over you! Through paint colours, abstract painting techniques and texture, you can place him in a variety of settings to ensure he can bring you luck throughout the year. 

We will provide everything you will require to turn a 12 x 12” mounted wood panel into your own charming gnome! No previous painting or drawing experience required. Techniques to transfer a pre-drawn gnome image onto your board will be covered as part of the workshop.

Local Artist, Kim Clark, will guide through the process of painting your own tiny watercolour painting that you will set under glass, before placing it within a 1” setting, to create a truly unique necklace or keychain! 

We will provide the paint, brushes, paper, glass, jewelry setting and the chain or key ring. You bring your ideas, reference photos and creativity! No previous painting experience required.

In partnership with the City of Brantford’s Summer in Harmony Square, Kim will be leading a Wearable Art Workshop! Join us for an evening of art in the square! Together, we will go through the steps to create a small watercolour painting that will be set into a pendant or keychain. All fittings are hypoallergenic.

Ages 8+ are welcome. Cost of $25 each and includes all supplies plus a gift box to take your creation home in!

All Covid-19 protocols will be followed, with each participant having their own kit of supplies to work for the evening.
