LEAVES SERIES
After months spent working on the Overlooked Series, with subtle colour and a lot of tints of gray, I was feeling the need for some saturated colour. That combined with the inspiration from the lush landscape I experienced during a trip to Whistler, BC provided the inspiration for this series of paintings.
Leaves are another part of our surroundings that often fade into the background for us. Overshadowed by flashy blooms. Let’s take a moment to revel in their beauty and diversity.
